You're car is cute. Congrats. I wish my payments were as cheap as yours. LOL. but I drove off the lot with a 2007 ford focus hatchback ses w/ sport kit that only had 16miles on it at the time I was in it. LOL. My payments are $400 plus full coverage insurance which is $200. LOL. Gotta love bills.

But be aware of your friends b/c now that you have a car they'll want you to pick them up and take them places. Charge gas money, regardless of what they say, or don't do it because by the end of this summer it will be close to $5 a gallon. And I know you're already struggling so you need to make sure you're not burning what gas you do have on them when they never cared to call before.

Good luck with HUD housing. They are pretty good here in Kentucky so I am sure they're the same there.

I know its a sad situation, especially when you care about him. But he made these decisions. He hurt you, scared the kids, and still blamed YOU for it all without ever thinking about what the consequences could be. What he did was severe, so there will be a severe punishment.

But he will be okay, Alicia. This is a learning experience for him. He needs this, and hopefully, he will come out of this a changed man and able to appreciate all the good in his life and take responsibility. But only he can choose that course. He can either see what this is offering him (a harsh look at reality AND a second chance) or he can continue blaming everyone else and acting like a child. But he has been given this opportunity. Lets just see what he does with it.

I agree with the commentor beneath this comment. Shop at the good will or plato's closet; that's where I get all of my clothes, and I like looking up to date.

Also, don't spend a lot of money on jeans and shoes. Get you a trendy pair of tennis shoes, a comfortable pair, and buy maybe two pairs of trendy jeans. Then, with the rest of your money, invest in some really cute and cool tops. If you shop at at a discount store, you should be able to afford it.

You are a good mother, and when they're old enough to be able to see what you've done for them and the sacrifices you've made, they will appreciate it.

When I was little, my mother was a single, working mom who didn't have much time or money. Even though I went through the teenage years not appreciating her, I remember being little and I remember that I never held a grudge. It didn't matter to me what time she got off work because once she did I was always SO happy. I loved playing with her. Things were hard, but I never blamed her. I loved her... and I'm sure your kids feel the same way about you.

Thanks for the advice about leaving notes around the house etc. dont know why i never really thought about that. Looking at a few of your entrys it sounds like you have your hands full and are busy yourself. Glad to hear your got a job trust me i know what its like working in a place thats not your type of store i just got a job at sears in the vacs. and sewing machines dept. deffinitly not where i thought i would be working at the time being.
